I've been saving these unusual keshi pearls until I found some natural colour gold pearls to go with them. The most eye catching feature of this necklace is a mass of belly drilled white keshi pearls with very strong pondslime markings giving a frilly look. They are mostly gold, with just small touches of white showing. The lustre isn't showing well in the photos, but it is there. The smaller pearls are round to off round, unbleached white freshwater pearls with almost complete pondslime markings and satiny lustre, almost the colour of tarnished brass. I've used them at the necklace ends for comfort. Rolled gold donut spacer beads are placed randomly in amongst the belly drilled keshi. Necklace diameter centre front is about 21mm. Strung on white powerpro and knotted. |
