I sorted though all my old storage jars and picked through all the character pearls: These look like the ones in my birthday necklace. Lots of colour variation... purple, lavender, gold,silver, blue, pink and lilac freshwater pearls, surfaces are wrinkly and shimmery. Blemishes on these are more subtle than the golden purple necklaces but still very visible; Shapes are round to off round. Lovely metallic lustre and pretty overtones. Many pearls have metallic surfaces. This is probably the pick of the smaller character pearls I'm putting up today. Strung on powerpro and knotted, with 2mm round rolled gold beads between each pearl. Character pearls are great for casual wear. Slightly under 18.5 inches in length. |
