I sorted though all my old storage jars and picked through all the character pearls: Lots of colour variation... peach, orange, pale gold, pink and lilac larger freshwater pearls, surfaces are wrinkly and shimmery. Blemishes on these are more subtle, shapes are round to off round. Lovely lustre and pretty overtones. Some pearls have metallic surfaces. This is probably the pick of the big character pearls I'm putting up today. Strung on powerpro and knotted, with 2mm round rolled gold beads between each pearl. Character pearls are great for casual wear. |
